Problem

Given a string containing digits from 2-9 inclusive, return all possible letter combinations that the number could represent. Return the answer in any order.

Input

A string `digits` of digits in the range `'2'–'9'`.

Output

All possible letter combinations the digits could represent, in any order. Return `[]` for empty input.

Examples

Input: digits = "23"

Output: ["ad","ae","af","bd","be","bf","cd","ce","cf"]

2 maps to abc, 3 maps to def. 3 × 3 = 9 combinations.

Input: digits = ""

Output: []

No digits, no combinations.

Input: digits = "2"

Output: ["a","b","c"]

Single digit 2 maps to a, b, c.

The brute-force approach

Iteratively build combinations. Start with an empty list. For each digit, for each existing combination, append each letter that digit maps to.

for digit in digits:
    letters = phone[digit]
    result = [combo + letter
              for combo in result
              for letter in letters]

Not actually slow — this iterative BFS approach is O(4ⁿ × n) just like backtracking. But it builds many intermediate strings in memory. Backtracking builds one path at a time and discards it when done, using O(n) memory for the current path.
